During a dance performance by the swiss performance artist Dorethea Rust, I saw in my minds eye that every movement she made contained an almost infinite amount of possible motions that could follow.

I endeavoured to photograph this idea using a combination of flash, spot lights and long exposures.

These images ( all one exposure,captured on film) are the result.
