I had long avoided Instagram, thinking it was for teenagers who wanted to show what they had for lunch.

At some point I realized it was just another way to show my images to the rest of the world. The first time viewing the opening page, I assumed that every image had to be in the square format. After posting a few, I realized that was not the case, but decided to continue posting squares, alternating between color and black & white images. Though not a very regular poster, I do have currently over 260 images on-line. I also enjoy making snappy little comments to go with the photographs.

It is like re-photographing my work, looking for the meaningful square inside of mostly horizontal or vertical photographs
